Challenging, yet fun, our childrens' programs create foundations for a healthy, balanced relationship with exercise. Aerial arts are a great way to get kids up and moving while simultaneously encouraging their creative side.
Each of our 60 minute classes will begin with a warm up, followed by practicing proper form and conditioning, and then safely working on progressive sequences and moves in the air. We end with a cool down and flexibility focus. In all classes, students will enjoy group work and learn to cooperate with other children while developing fundamental skills such as trust, teamwork, and confidence. Throughout the session kids will experiment with creating both individual sequences and group routines.
Kiddos will walk away from our sessions feeling confident and ready to tackle anything. You might even find they are ready for bed early, after a day at class!

New Student Registration August 28 - September 10
Halloween Showcase November 5
Starting with our September 11th session, we will be introducing different levels into our program.
This means that our teachers will have more time and attention to dedicate to your child's personal skills! Having levels that are defined by skill knowledge and ability also allows our teachers to give each dancer a set of realistic expectations and a more positive experience in the studio. Progressing through an aerial program in terms of skill knowledge and execution ability, allows for all children to go at his or her own pace. This will level the playing field in each class, creating more achieved goals, clearer expectations, and happier dancers.
Our first dance level will be called "Fundamentals"; In this class, students will focus on the fundamentals! they will work on conditioning to gain strength and flexibility, while learning skills and different aspects of dance to build toward the ultimate goal of being a strong, well rounded aerialist.
Our second level will be called "Applied"; this class will focus on applying fundamental skills towards the continued development of skills, sequences, fluidity, strength and flexibility. There will be a strong emphasis on polishing techniques previously learned in Fundamentals and building upon them.
At the end of our currently running session, your child's teacher will let you know which level to register for.
If you are new, you will start with a fundamental class.
In this class, students will use two lengths of silk fabric hung from a single point to learn progressive acrobatic and dance skills. They will work with sequences including climbing, wrapping into the fabric, and eventually, drops, and dives! This class is a great way to develop confidence, strength and flexibility.

A lyra is a circular steel ring similar to a hula hoop that’s suspended in the air. In this class, students will use the lyras to develop acrobatic and dance skills. They will learn to climb, hang, roll and pose, exploring with their natural creativity while also developing strength, body control, and flexibility.

For safety and size reasons, the youngest we will start teaching aerial is 8. Our kids program goes all the way up to 15 years old, and after that, your child is welcome to join adult aerial classes
We recommend kids wear leggings to cover the back of their knees and a top that covers their back and underarms. Leotards and unitards are also a great option! Clothing should be fitted- not loose or baggy. Class will be done barefoot or in socks.
We don't allow rings, bracelets or dangly earrings as they can damage the equipment and pose a safety risk. Likewise, please do not wear clothing with zippers. Avoid lotions and body oils 24 hours prior to class- they make for a slippery experience.
Yes! We schedule makeup classes at the end of every session during "break week" that students can attend. You can also call the studio or talk to your instructor to schedule a makeup in another class (if we have room). We recommend signing up for a makeup as soon as you know you will need one, to ensure you have a spot.
"My daughter loves her aerial class at Rondi's! She looks forward to class each week. Her strength and flexibility have improved significantly since beginning this class several months ago. I'd highly recommend this class to any parents thinking about enrolling their child. It's money well spent."
